Welcome to the Pro Shop

Hi,

My name is David Wood and I'm the Pro here at St Cleres Hall Golf course, and if I'm not giving lessons then I can usually be found in the Pro shop. Like most golf clubs, the pro shop is the hub for your games play, and I am here to help you in any way that I can. Whether you need information, a shoulder to lean on in times of trouble or in emergency a golf doctor to repair broken clubs.

So when you first come to St Cleres, if you need any help with anything please come and say hello.

Plus don't forget I'm also here to help improve your game, I have the knowledge for you, whether that's through lessons or ensuring that you have the right equipment. People often overlook the importance of having the right equipment and it's absolutely essential if you want to improve.

The correct lie angle affects club face impact, the shaft needs to flex and twist at the right speed according to a persons swing speed and the grip needs to fit the size of a persons hands so they can not only hold the club correctly but with the right amount of pressure applied.
